Opera Bohemia, Scotland’s professional touring company, returns to the Beacon with Puccini’s masterpiece, Tosca, a tale of love, lust and deception. Directed by Douglas Nairne and designed by Kenneth MacLeod, the drama is plunged into a world of crime and passion amidst the treacherous mafia underworld. Award-winning Scottish soprano Monica McGhee leads a star cast in the iconic title role. The production is performed in a special new version for piano and solo violin and is sung in English.
