Café Riva

Café Riva is situated at the Kip Marina and is a family run café that offers all day breakfasts, hot filled rolls, coffee, cakes, ice cream! Our café provides a relaxed environment for our customers and has plenty of onsite parking.

We are a seasonal, family run café open from mid-March through to the beginning of November (for latest news check out our Facebook and Instagram).

A stylish outlet, located in the magnificent Kip Marina the café is named in homage to the classic Riva Aquarama speedboat first built in 1962, its classic lines, mahogany hull, sheer beauty and speed evoking an era of by gone elegance and impeccable taste.

Take time out and cast your eye over the impressive yachts or sit outside and people watch as they tend to their boats. On crisp clear days why not walk or cycle along the many picturesque seaside paths, admiring the views and spotting wildlife. By the time you reach us at Café Riva you’ll have earned your hot chocolate and marshmallows if it gets a little chilly! We also offer a huge selection of hand-crafted milk shakes, iced coffees and smoothies for those summer treats.

Everything we cook is made fresh to order and just how you like it. Our soup is prepared in house every day and we have a wide variety of traditional home baked cakes including empire biscuits, almond squares and fruit slices.

Our coffee is famous for miles around! We have been using Pellini coffee for over 25 years, regarded as one of Italy’s best loved blends and recognised in the industry for quality and artisanal craft.

Our famous square slice is locally sourced from award winning butcher A.D. Paton of Largs and our delicious ice cream comes from the Isle of Arran easily visible from Kip Marina.

We prefer cash but credit, debit cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay are accepted.

We offer sit in and take away and we now have an outside decking area where dogs are welcome.
