Tennis Inverclyde

Outdoor Activity

Tennis Inverclyde is a non for profit group set up to encourage children and adults into tennis, working with local tennis clubs, Inverclyde Council’s Active Sports team and other agencies. The group runs in-school, after school and holiday tennis activities as well as ‘come and try’ sessions and competitions and other activities. Both tennis clubs in Inverclyde have recently been awarded grants to update and improve their facilities.

Tennis Inverclyde has two courts:

  • Fort Matilda – Found on Newark Street (Part of the Fort Matilda Playing Fields). A great setting to place tennis all year round with friends and family. A friendly, vibrant club with 4 floodlit, artificial grass courts with clubhouse.
  • Ardgowan – Found in the middle of Ardgowan Square. 4 all weather artificial grass tennis courts, a great community and a beautiful setting. The main clubhouse has changing rooms, toilet facilities and a bar.

Additional Locations:

  • Ardgowan Street, Greenock PA16 8EH, UK
