The Laurettes are bringing their FIRST EVER HEADLINE TOUR TO GOUROCKs Gamble Halls! See the founders of Inverclyde’s ‘Lockdown Live’ bring their fun packed event to life! They are bringing not only one but TWO shows back to the hometown of Gourock alongside Ru Mac an incredible act from the label ‘Wee Studio.’ They have a jam packed interactive St Andrew’s day Family Fun show at 2pm including kicking off the event with a mini disco (more on the itinerary later) that means children can be part of the day, followed by a live show for over 14s only at 8pm.
THE RULETTES ARE GOING ON TOUR! The Bloody Box Wizard meets The Witches of Inverclyde for a joint headline tour this Winter. RuMac and The Laurettes will be playing a game of ‘Rulette’ who will kick each night off? TURN UP ROLL THE DICE AND FIND OUT! Both acts have been showcased on STV’s ‘What’s on Scotland’ with The Laurettes ‘Bringing in the Bells’ at Hogmanay. RuMac is a first class showman playing as a one man band on his legendary ‘Bloody Box’. His unique use of ALL LIVE electronic sounds through his MIDI programmed accordion, rivals that of ANY full stadium band. The Laurettes are known for getting the party started wherever they go and their Indie Folk Fusion sounds, have had some of the largest choreographed crowds known to the festival circuit. Both acts have toured the country playing festivals far and wide, accompanying some of the biggest names in Scottish Music on tour such as Peat and Diesel,
Skerryvore, Trail West and many more. Between them they’ve taken on The Barrowlands, The Main Stage at Belladrum and Sony Hall for New York Tartan week. It’s now time for their FIRST EVER headline tour and what better way to to celebrate the launch of their ‘Wee Studio’ debut albums ‘The Bloody Box’ and ‘Meet Me at The MainStage’ than to do it together! ‘Buckle up we believe you’re guna have a BALL’ Meet us at ‘The Main Stage’ and become an official part of Ru’s parental advisory ‘Gaelic Choir’. A Fusion of Scottish folk, Rock, Techno Vikings with a bit of AC/DC meets Fleetwood Mac thrown in for good measure.
