Original Artists

Shopping

Original Artists was established in Gourock in 1997 with the help of the Princess Trust. Within 12 months they had outgrown the premises and moved into a derelict former butcher’s shop which boasts an elaborate J Duncan Ltd ceramic tile wall frieze. The move was facilitated by the Prince’s Trust. This provided much needed space to augment their mainly Scottish arts and crafts as well as unusual, hand picked pieces from all over the world. The business are conscious of ensuring that our products are fair trade. Original Artists have received numerous awards including; Prince’s Trust, Shell Livewire, Outstanding New Business, Award of Excellence, Most Promising Business, RBS Regional Winner.
