The Victoria Bar

Food & Drink

The Victoria Bar

Local lore has it that Rob Roy himself called into the place now called The Victoria Bar. Whether true or not, the Jacobite fighter would no doubt feel very much at home in this classic low-ceilinged pub which feels like it’s been here forever. With its circular bar and loyal band of regulars, it maintains the traditional pleasures of good drink and good conversation in good company. As a result, it’s popular with older locals, plus commuters en route to the nearby train station and a younger crowd at weekends.
