Springtime signals the start of lambing season and with Inverclyde residents enjoying long walks on the brighter days, it is important to be mindful of the arrival of newborn lambs.
Our towns/villages are full of great walking routes which are close to farms. Therefore, a friendly reminder to be respectful of this time for farmers and keep dogs close, under control and on leads. Sheep can be spooked by dogs, which can cause problems for pregnant ewes and those who have just given birth.
Enjoy the spring fresh air whilst remaining distance from other visitors and wildlife.
