Kilmacolm

Kilmacolm is a small, popular, village with independent shops, bars and eateries. For those who enjoy the great outdoors, there’s bike riding around Knapps Loch, cricket or bowls in Birkmyre Park as well as tennis, golf and rugby. The friendly, lively community village hall provides plenty of activities. The housing in the area is very striking with large Victorian houses and in particular some with links to Charles Rennie Macintosh, including Windy Hill a house designed and furnished by him and his wife, Margaret Macdonald in 1901.
