Come along to Cardwell Garden Centre and join us for our Christmas lights switch on.
Join Santa and Rudolph to get the festive season off to a cracker of a start.

Our Christmas Lights Switch On and Shopping Night is taking place on Thursday, November 7 between 5pm and 9pm.

It’s the first time we have staged an event like this and we aim to get everyone in a festive mood and looking forward to Christmas.

The Lights Switch On – in the outdoor shrubs area next to the Patio Café – will be at 6pm.
We’ll have a deserving youngster as our special guest to switch on the illuminations and of course, Santa Claus and Rudolph will be at Cardwell to meet everyone.

The Ardgowan Singers, performing carols and Christmas songs, a face painter and the local Salvation Army Band will provide entertainment during the evening.

Cardwell’s Santa’s Grotto and carnival will also be open between 6pm and 8.30pm.

And since this is the time of year for giving, the centre is offering customers ten per cent off all Christmas goods, except food and houseplants.

The Patio Café will be offering a full menu until 7.30pm, on November 7 with drinks and home baking available until 8.30pm. There will also be seasonal food tasting on the night.

Cardwell’s retail general manager, Paul Carmichael said: “We want to give our visitors the brightest, sparkliest and most colourful start to the festive season.

“Everyone’s invited to our Christmas Lights Switch On to see our illuminations, meet Santa and Rudolph, have lots of fun and bag some Christmas discounts into the bargain.”
