LOCH THOM TRAIL RACE RETURNS!
After the roaring success last year during Scottish Running Week, we are delighted to announce the return of the Loch Thom Trail Race, organised by Inverclyde Athletic Club who raised £1,000 for Athletics Trust Scotland in 2024.
The race takes place on June 4 at 7pm. Entries open at 7pm here: https://protay.co.uk/lochthom2025/#
Date: Wednesday 4th June
Race Fee: 4km – £4/£6 – 7km – £6/£8.
*£2 levy for non ScottishAthletics members.
Race Limit: Limited to 200 participants, after which a waitlist will be established.
Time: 7pm for both races.
Age: Minimum age 17 on day of race.
Race Information
The race will start and finish outside the café. Registration takes place inside the café, which will be open for food and drinks. Your race bib doubles as your raffle ticket.

Continue on the A78 At Roundabout take 2nd exit onto Dunlop Street B7054 At Traffic Lights turn right onto Peat Road At Y junction Go Right onto Drumfrochar Road Turn left onto Old Largs Road Follow this past Whinhill Golf Course and onto the moor road Loch Thom will soon be seen on right At the end of the Loch (Garvock) Turn Right Follow this road to the Visitor Centre
From Port Glasgow Stay on A8 until Greenock Firestation Turn left onto Dellingburn St B788 At roundabout take 2nd exit and continue onto Baker Street Baker Street turns slightly right at top of hill and becomes Drumfrochar Road B7054 At Traffic lights turn left to remain on Drumfrochar Road Turn left onto Old Largs Road Follow this past Whinhill Golf Course and onto the moor road Loch Thom will soon be seen on right At the end of the Loch (Garvock) Turn Right Follow this road to the Visitor Centre.
