Celebrate Port Glasgow’s 250th birthday by joining our brave adventurers on their mission to save Port Glasgow from the evil Lord Maxwell.
A terrible storm has descended on Port Glasgow and is showing no sign of passing. The ports have shut, no one can get in or out of the town and there have been no food deliveries for weeks. Our heroic team of adventurers need to work out what is causing the storm, how they can stop it and save Port Glasgow.
This live Dungeons and Dragons performance will take the audience on an adventure through the fantasy world of Port Glasgow, meeting real ‘Portonians’ of the past and visiting some of the iconic landmarks of the town.
The performance is taken from a Dungeons and Dragons campaign that has been designed with young people in Inverclyde, ‘Save the Port’. The campaign and performance is part of Port Glasgow’s 250th birthday celebrations, and a second performance will be taking place at Newark Castle during Galoshans Festival in October.
This is a family friendly performance, and the content of the campaign will be amended to ensure that it is suitable for all ages.
