A Little Loop

Cycling Route

  • Distance7 Miles
  • Average elevation181m

Difficulty: A gentle introduction to some gentle hills on quiet roads.

This route is an ideal way to discover some very peaceful country roads. You leave Kilmacolm and begin your first climb through Kilmacolm golf course. You quickly feel like you’ve left the towns and villages behind on these roads! Following a descent, you then make your way back to Kilmacolm by riding along West Glen road – a beautiful and gentle climb which is never too steep and with views at the top that make it all worthwhile, then its downhill on the way home!

Type of bike: Any

What to bring: Bring your sense of adventure on roads you may not even know existed!

Places to stop along the way: Stop at the top of West Glen Road before you descend back to Kilmacolm. The views into Clyde Muirshel are superb.
