Tennis block coaching re-starts in Greenock

14.08.2020

Life in Inverclyde

Following three weeks of summer camps, made possible by some relaxations in the Covid-19 restrictions, Fort Matilda and Ardgowan tennis clubs are re-starting their very popular block coaching sessions from Saturday 22 August with a full programme to suit all ages and tennis experience. The sessions will all be taken by qualified tennis coaches.

Head coach at both clubs Stephanie Swan said, ‘The summer camps went well and it was great to see the kids back and all enjoying themselves. It was a quick three weeks and we were glad to be able to manage something for the children during the holidays, and now able to resume our block coaching at both clubs.’

Details of the new sessions are attached. All classes must be booked online via the relevant Club’s Clubspark to help with track and trace. The clubs have some new classes, with adjustment of times from previous blocks. These include a new Tennis for Kids class for those with little or no experience to tennis, and the re-introduction of the popular nursery class on a Saturday morning. Cardio tennis is unfortunately not able to commence until guidelines allow the clubs to offer this.

More details are available from Stephanie at [email protected] or by phone on 07414 221 022. The links to the clubs’ Clubspark booking pages are:
