Raymond Murray Gallery
20th – 30th July 2023
Renowned artist Raymond Murray is a highly talented artist with a unique style.
He was born and bred in Greenock and the old shipbuilding town is still an inspiration for some of his work. He now works from his studio on the Isle of Bute off the west coast of Scotland.
Raymond’s portraits were described as being part of the Neo Classical School and hang in private collections all around the world.
His work can be seen in the Scottish Maritime Museum, The McLean Museum and Art Gallery, The Scottish Coal Mining Museum, Benmore Royal Botanic Gardens and the Houses of Parliament. The largest of his work hang in Barony Universal and are over 24ft high.
We are so privileged to have been donated a number of Raymond’s atmospheric, museum quality paintings to raise much needed funds for Calums Cabin.
To showcase them, we will be opening a 10 day Pop-Up Gallery on the Isle of Bute between the 21st and 30th July.
