Don’t miss the Cardwell Garden Centre Big Christmas Weekend. Come along to Cardwell this weekend – December 2 and 3 – for a Santa’s sackful of festive fun! We’ve got Santa in his Grotto, Rudolph, Morton FC mascot Cappie The Cat, a carnival, musical entertainment and ten per cent off Christmas goods, except food and house plants.
It’s all happening at Cardwell Garden Centre in the run-up to Christmas.
So don’t miss our Big Christmas Weekend, December 2 and 3, which brings together all that’s best about enjoying the festive season.
Christmas comes early for customers who pay us a visit during the Big Weekend with ten per cent off Christmas goods – except food and house plants – along with other exclusive Big Weekend offers.
As well as Santa, who’ll be in his Grotto ready and waiting to welcome children and hear what they want him to bring them at Christmas, there’s also an exciting Carnival with funfair rides for kids.
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer will also be paying us a visit between noon and 4pm on both days and will happily pose for photographs with everyone. And on Sunday he’ll be joined by Morton FC’s mascot, Cappie The Cat, who is coming along to enjoy some festive fun with everyone.
We’re also holding a charity prize draw and one of the prizes is a signed Morton FC top.
The piano we’ve installed in our Patio Café is very popular with visitors taking up our invitation to come along and tickle the ivories.
Our Sounds of Christmas Piano sessions are a great chance to show how good you are on the keyboard and take the applause from our visitors, who will no doubt appreciate your playing. And the more Christmassy your tunes are, the better.
There’s also a Christmas Treasure Hunt with the chance to win a goodie bag in a prize draw; Nicola, our face painter will also be on hand to create amazing characters and designs on children’s faces and there will be seasonal food tasting sessions.
Robbie Williams had a hit record with Let Me Entertain You and that’s exactly what we’ll be doing during the Big Weekend. On the Saturday we’ll have the Salvation Army Brass Band and the Clyde Coast Fiddlers performing.
Cardwell’s retail general manager, Paul Carmichael said: “Our Big Christmas Weekend is a fabulous way to enjoy the run-up to Christmas and get ready for the festive season.
“We’ll have fresh-cut real Christmas trees in stock, lots of sparkling lights and decorations to adorn your tree and make the magic of Christmas come to your home.”
